मोतिहारी, पूर्वी चंपारण में सुगौली पुलिस ने एक बड़ी कार्रवाई करते हुए तीन बदमाशों को गिरफ्तार किया है। पुलिस का कहना है कि ये तीनों बदमाश एयरटेल पेमेंट बैंक को लूटने की फिराक में थे। पुलिस ने इनके पास से हथियार और कारतूस भी बरामद किए हैं।
ऐसे हुई गिरफ्तारी
पुलिस को सूचना मिली थी कि सुगौली थाना क्षेत्र के ओवरब्रिज के पास एयरटेल पेमेंट बैंक लूटने के लिए पांच अपराधी हथियारों के साथ इकट्ठा होने वाले हैं। यह जानकारी तुरंत वरिष्ठ अधिकारियों को दी गयी। इसके बाद पुलिस ने एक टीम बनायी और इलाके में वाहनों की जांच और छापेमारी शुरू कर दी।
जांच के दौरान, पुलिस को छपरा बहास रोड पर सड़क किनारे तीन संदिग्ध व्यक्ति मिले। पुलिस ने उनकी तलाशी ली, जिसमें चौंकाने वाले खुलासे हुए।
बरामद हथियार और कारतूस
गिरफ्तार बदमाशों के पास से पुलिस ने निम्नलिखित सामान बरामद किया:
- पंकज कुमार के कमर से एक लोकलमेड कट्टा (जिसमें एक गोली लोड थी) और बाएं जेब से एक कारतूस मिला।
- प्रकाश कुमार के कमर से भी एक लोकल मेड कट्टा (जिसमें एक गोली लोड थी) और बाएं जेब से एक कारतूस बरामद हुआ।
- अभय कुमार उर्फ बिट्टू के दाहिने और बाएं पैंट की जेब से दो कारतूस और तीन मोबाइल फोन मिले।
गिरफ्तार बदमाशों की पहचान
पुलिस ने गिरफ्तार किए गए बदमाशों की पहचान कर ली है। वे हैं:
- पंकज कुमार (नयाटोला हरपुर, पीपराकोटी थाना क्षेत्र का निवासी)
- अभय कुमार (नयाटोला हरपुर, पीपराकोटी थाना क्षेत्र का निवासी)
- प्रकाश कुमार (कझिया, कोटवा थाना क्षेत्र का निवासी)
छापेमारी टीम में शामिल अधिकारी
इस सफल छापेमारी में कई वरिष्ठ पुलिस अधिकारी और बल शामिल थे। छापेमारी टीम में ये प्रमुख सदस्य थे:

सुगौली थानाध्यक्ष अवनीश कुमार सिंह ने बताया कि इस मामले में सुगौली थाना में कांड दर्ज कर लिया गया है और आगे की कानूनी कार्रवाई की जा रही है। पुलिस गिरफ्तार बदमाशों से पूछताछ कर रही है ताकि उनसे जुड़ी और जानकारी हासिल की जा सके।

Motihari, East Champaran: Sugoli Police successfully apprehended three criminals who had devised a plot to rob an Airtel Payment Bank. Weapons and live cartridges were recovered from their possession.
How the Apprehension Unfolded
Police received a tip-off that five armed criminals were gathering near the overbridge in the Sugoli police station area, intending to carry out a robbery at an Airtel Payment Bank. This information was immediately relayed to senior officials. Consequently, a police team was formed, initiating vehicle checks and raids in the area.
During the search, three suspicious individuals were found by the roadside on Chhapra Bahas Road. Police detained them and conducted a search, leading to significant discoveries.
Weapons and Ammunition Recovered
The police recovered the following items from the apprehended criminals:
- From Pankaj Kumar’s waist, a Local-made pistol (loaded with one round) and a live cartridge from his left pocket were found.
- From Prakash Kumar’s waist, another Local -made pistol (loaded with one round) and a live cartridge from his left pocket were recovered.
- From Abhay Kumar alias Bittu’s right and left pant pockets, two live cartridges and three mobile phones were seized.
Identification of the Apprehended Criminals
The police have identified the apprehended individuals as:
- Pankaj Kumar (resident of Nayatola Harpur, Piprakoti police station area)
- Abhay Kumar (resident of Nayatola Harpur, Piprakoti police station area)
- Prakash Kumar (resident of Kajhiya, Kotwa police station area)

Sugoli SHO Avnish Kumar Singh stated that a case has been registered at Sugoli Police Station, and further legal action is being taken. The police are interrogating the apprehended criminals to gather more information related to their activities.
