सोशल मीडिया की दोस्ती के बाद फंसाने की कोशिश
एक नेपाली युवक ने सोशल मीडिया के जरिए 13 वर्षीय नाबालिग लड़की से दोस्ती कर उसे बहला-फुसलाकर नेपाल ले जाने की साज़िश रची। लेकिन समय रहते पुलिस और सामाजिक संस्थाओं की सतर्कता से यह मानव तस्करी टल गयी।
इंडियन ऑयल डिपो के पास हुई गिरफ्तारी-
एसएसबी 47वीं बटालियन की एंटी ह्यूमन ट्रैफिकिंग टीम, प्रयास जुवेनाइल एड सेंटर (पूर्वी चंपारण) और न्याय नेटवर्क परियोजना की संयुक्त कार्रवाई में आरोपित युवक को रक्सौल बॉर्डर के पास इंडियन ऑयल डिपो से गिरफ्तार किया गया। सूचना के आधार पर टीम ने युवक और नाबालिग लड़की को संदिग्ध हालात में पकड़ा।
शादी और नौकरी का सपना दिखाकर फंसाया
काउंसलिंग के दौरान लड़की ने बताया कि कुछ दिनों से युवक से उसकी सोशल मीडिया पर बातचीत हो रही थी। युवक ने उसे घर से चुपचाप निकलकर घोड़ासहन स्टेशन आने को कहा। वहां से वह ट्रेन द्वारा उसे रक्सौल लाया और फिर नेपाल ले जाने की साज़िश थी। यह उनकी पहली मुलाकात थी। युवक ने नेपाल में शादी और नौकरी दिलाने का सपना दिखाया था।
लड़की घोड़ासहन थाना क्षेत्र की निवासी
लड़की की उम्र लगभग 13 वर्ष है और वह पूर्वी चंपारण जिले के घोड़ासहन थाना क्षेत्र की रहने वाली है। आरोपी युवक के खिलाफ एफआईआर दर्ज कर ली गई है और आगे की जांच जारी है।
पुलिस और सामाजिक संस्थाओं की सक्रियता से बची मासूम की जिंदगी
इस कार्रवाई में एसएसबी इंस्पेक्टर विकास कुमार, अरविंद द्विवेदी, शिवांगी राज, जिला परियोजना समन्वयक आरती कुमारी, सामाजिक कार्यकर्ता राज गुप्ता, गौरव कुमार दास समेत कई सदस्य शामिल रहे। इनकी तत्परता से एक मासूम की जिंदगी मानव तस्करी से बचाई जा सकी।

Raxaul (Anil Kumar) – A major human trafficking attempt was foiled near the Raxaul border when a Nepali youth was caught trying to take a 13-year-old minor girl across the border into Nepal. The youth had reportedly befriended the girl through social media and lured her with false promises.
Joint Operation Leads to Arrest Near Indian Oil Depot
Based on a tip-off, a joint team of SSB’s 47th Battalion Anti-Human Trafficking Unit, Prayas Juvenile Aid Centre (East Champaran), and Nyaya Network Project detained the youth near the Indian Oil Depot at the border. The girl and the accused were found in a suspicious situation and were taken into custody for questioning.
Girl Was Lured with False Promises of Marriage and Job
During counseling, the minor girl revealed that she had recently started chatting with the youth on social media. He convinced her to quietly leave home and meet him at Ghorasahan station. From there, they traveled to Raxaul with the plan to cross into Nepal. The girl said it was their first physical meeting, and the youth had promised to marry her and help her get a job in Nepal.
FIR Registered, Investigation Ongoing
The girl is a resident of Ghorasahan police station area and is about 13 years old. An FIR has been registered against the accused, and further investigation is underway to uncover any wider trafficking network.
Active Response by Police and NGOs Saved a Life
This rescue operation was possible due to the swift action of several team members including SSB Inspector Vikas Kumar, Arvind Dwivedi, Shivangi Raj, District Project Coordinator Aarti Kumari, social workers Raj Gupta and Gaurav Kumar Das, among others. Their alertness and coordinated effort helped save a minor girl from falling victim to human trafficking.
