शहर के कुंआरी देवी चौक पर वाहन जांच के दौरान एक युवक को थप्पड़ मारने वाली महिला दारोगा प्रियंका कुमारी को सस्पेंड कर दिया गया है। यह घटना सोशल मीडिया पर वीडियो वायरल होने के बाद सामने आयी।
दारोगा प्रियंका नगर थाना के नाका दो में प्रतिनियुक्त थीं। वीडियो में दिख रहा है कि उन्होंने एक बाइक सवार युवक को थप्पड़ मारा, जिसके बाद उनके साथ मौजूद प्राइवेट ड्राइवर अमन कुमार ने उस युवक की जमकर पिटाई कर दी।
एसपी स्वर्ण प्रभात ने बताया कि यह वीडियो पुराना लगता है, लेकिन पुलिसकर्मियों का ऐसा व्यवहार आम लोगों के साथ पूरी तरह गलत है। इस वजह से दारोगा को निलंबित कर दिया गया है और ड्राइवर अमन पर एफआईआर दर्ज करने का आदेश भी दिया गया है।
ड्राइवर अमन कुमार, मोतिहारी शहर के मिस्कौट मोहल्ला का रहने वाला है। एसपी ने यह भी कहा कि कोई भी पुलिसकर्मी अगर आम जनता से बदसलूकी करेगा, तो उसके खिलाफ सख्त कार्रवाई की जाएगी।
घटना का पूरा मामला:
वाहन जांच के दौरान दारोगा प्रियंका ने एक युवक को थप्पड़ मारा। इसके बाद उनके साथ मौजूद अमन ने उस युवक को पीटना शुरू कर दिया। यह सब देखकर वहां मौजूद किसी व्यक्ति ने वीडियो बना लिया और उसे सोशल मीडिया पर वायरल कर दिया।
वीडियो वायरल होते ही अधिकारियों ने तुरंत एक्शन लिया और दारोगा को निलंबित कर दिया गया तथा ड्राइवर अमन पर नगर थाना में केस दर्ज करने का निर्देश दिया गया।

Motihari:
Woman sub-inspector Priyanka Kumari, posted at Naka-2 under Nagar Police Station in Motihari, has been suspended after a video of her slapping a young man during a vehicle check went viral on social media.
The video shows SI Priyanka slapping a bike rider, after which her private driver Aman Kumar brutally beat the youth. Aman is a resident of Miscot locality in Motihari.
SP Swarn Prabhat stated that though the video appears to be old, such behavior by police personnel towards civilians is unacceptable. He added that strict action will be taken against any officer found misbehaving with the public.
Following the incident, the SP suspended SI Priyanka and ordered that an FIR be lodged against the private driver Aman Kumar at Nagar Police Station.
What Happened:
During routine checking near Kunwari Devi Chowk, SI Priyanka slapped a young man riding a bike. Her driver Aman then started beating the youth. A bystander recorded the incident on video, which later went viral on social media, prompting the SP to take immediate disciplinary action.
