Synopsis : कश्मीर के कुलगाम जिले के अखल क्षेत्र में सुरक्षाबलों और आतंकवादियों के बीच मुठभेड़ पांचवें दिन भी जारी है। शुक्रवार को इलाके में आतंकियों की मौजूदगी की सूचना मिलने के बाद सुरक्षाबलों ने व्यापक सर्च ऑपरेशन शुरू किया था।

कश्मीर के कुलगाम जिले के अखल क्षेत्र में सुरक्षाबलों और आतंकवादियों के बीच मुठभेड़ पांचवें दिन भी जारी है। शुक्रवार को इलाके में आतंकियों की मौजूदगी की सूचना मिलने के बाद सुरक्षाबलों ने व्यापक सर्च ऑपरेशन शुरू किया था।
जैसे ही सुरक्षाबलों ने जंगलों में घेराबंदी तेज की, वहां छिपे आतंकियों ने गोलीबारी शुरू कर दी। जवाबी कार्रवाई में दोनों ओर से भीषण फायरिंग हुई। अब तक की मुठभेड़ में तीन आतंकवादी मारे जा चुके हैं, जबकि सेना के तीन जवान घायल हुए हैं। घायल जवानों को श्रीनगर स्थित सेना के अस्पताल में भर्ती कराया गया है, जहां उनका इलाज चल रहा है।
इलाके में अब भी रुक-रुक कर गोलीबारी हो रही है। माना जा रहा है कि कुछ और आतंकी जंगल में छिपे हुए हैं। उनकी तलाश में सर्च ऑपरेशन और तेज कर दिया गया है।
ऑपरेशन को सफलतापूर्वक अंजाम देने के लिए सेना और जम्मू-कश्मीर पुलिस के वरिष्ठ अधिकारी मौके पर मौजूद हैं। रुद्र हेलिकॉप्टर, ड्रोन, हाई-टेक निगरानी उपकरण और पैरा फोर्सेज को तैनात किया गया है, ताकि पूरे इलाके पर कड़ी नजर रखी जा सके और आतंकियों के बच निकलने की किसी भी कोशिश को नाकाम किया जा सके।

The standoff between security forces and terrorists in Akhal, Kulgam, Kashmir, has now entered its fifth consecutive day. The operation began on Friday after intelligence reports indicated the presence of militants in the region, prompting security agencies to launch a massive search operation.
When security forces intensified their cordon in the dense forests, the hiding terrorists opened fire. This was met with heavy retaliatory firing from the forces. So far, three terrorists have been killed in the ongoing encounter, while three soldiers have been injured. The injured personnel have been admitted to an army hospital in Srinagar, where they are receiving treatment.
Intermittent firing is still being reported from the area, and it is believed that a few more terrorists may still be hiding in the forest. Security forces have escalated the search to trace and neutralize the remaining militants.
To ensure the success of the operation, senior officers from the Army and Jammu & Kashmir Police are present at the site. Rudra helicopters, drones, high-tech surveillance equipment, and Para forces have been deployed to keep a strict watch over the entire region and prevent any escape attempts by the terrorists.
