मोतिहारी में पीएम के आगमन को लेकर हाई अलर्ट
रक्सौल – प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी के 18 जुलाई को मोतिहारी आने को लेकर भारत-नेपाल सीमा पर सुरक्षा व्यवस्था बेहद कड़ी कर दी गई है। आतंकियों के घुसने की आशंका को देखते हुए वीरगंज के मुख्य बॉर्डर समेत सभी सीमावर्ती इलाकों में हाई अलर्ट जारी किया गया है। सीमा पर सुरक्षा एजेंसियां स्कैनर मशीन, डॉग स्क्वायड (खोजी कुत्ते) और दूसरे आधुनिक उपकरणों से बारीकी से जांच कर रही हैं।
18 जुलाई को आवाजाही पर पूरी तरह रोक-
18 जुलाई की सुबह से लेकर दोपहर तक बॉर्डर को पूरी तरह से बंद रखा जाएगा। इस दौरान न तो गाड़ियां आ-जा सकेंगी और न ही लोग पैदल सीमा पार कर पाएंगे। भारत-नेपाल मैत्री पुल बॉर्डर पर अनुमंडल प्रशासन ने एक दंडाधिकारी (अधिकारी) को तैनात किया है, जबकि एसएसबी की 47वीं बटालियन के जवान हर आने-जाने वाले का पहचान पत्र (आईडी कार्ड) और सामान की जांच कर रहे हैं।
बम और हथियार रोकने के लिए कड़ी जांच-
सीमा पार करने वाले लोगों के बैग और सामान को स्कैन किया जा रहा है, ताकि बम, हथियार या कोई भी संदिग्ध चीज सीमा के अंदर न आ सके। एसएसबी के अधिकारियों ने नेपाल के सुरक्षाकर्मियों के साथ मिलकर दोनों तरफ से सुरक्षा व्यवस्था और कड़ी कर दी है। वीरगंज कस्टम और शंकराचार्य गेट पर नेपाल पुलिस ने भी अपनी जांच तेज कर दी है।
ग्रामीण सीमावर्ती इलाकों में भी सुरक्षा बढ़ी-
इसके अलावा सहदेवा, महादेवा, मुसहरवा, पंटोका, धूपवा टोला, भेलाही और सिसवा जैसे ग्रामीण सीमावर्ती इलाकों में भी सुरक्षा बलों की संख्या बढ़ा दी गई है। एसएसबी के जवान वहां कड़ी निगरानी रख रहे हैं और संदिग्ध लोगों से पूछताछ कर रहे हैं।
सुरक्षा एजेंसियां अलर्ट, जनता से सहयोग की अपील-
खुले बॉर्डर का फायदा उठाकर किसी भी तरह की आतंकी गतिविधि को रोकने के लिए सभी सुरक्षा एजेंसियां पूरी तरह से तैयार हैं। एसएसबी, स्थानीय प्रशासन और खुफिया एजेंसियां लगातार एक-दूसरे के साथ मिलकर काम कर रही हैं।
एसएसबी 47वीं बटालियन के डिप्टी कमांडेंट नवीन कुमार ने बताया कि प्रधानमंत्री के आने तक बॉर्डर पूरी तरह से बंद रहेगा। उन्होंने आम नागरिकों से अपील की है कि वे निर्धारित समय से पहले या बाद में ही सीमा पार करें। प्रधानमंत्री की सुरक्षा को देखते हुए यह कदम एहतियात के तौर पर उठाया गया है।

High Alert Issued for PM’s Arrival in Motihari
Raxaul – Security arrangements have been significantly tightened along the India-Nepal border in view of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Motihari on July 18. A high alert has been issued across all border areas, including the main Raxaul, and Birgunj borders, due to the apprehension of terrorist infiltration. Security agencies at the border are conducting intensive checks using scanner machines, dog squads, and other modern equipment.
Complete Restriction on Movement on July 18
The border will be completely sealed from morning until afternoon on July 18. During this period, not only will vehicle movement be prohibited, but pedestrian movement will also be restricted. A magistrate will be deployed by the sub-divisional administration at the India-Nepal Friendship Bridge border, while jawans of the 47th Battalion of SSB are checking the ID cards and belongings of every person crossing.
Strict Checks to Prevent Bombs and Weapons
Bags and belongings of people crossing the border are being scanned to prevent the entry of bombs, weapons, or any suspicious items into the territory. SSB officials have coordinated with Nepalese security personnel to further strengthen security arrangements from both sides. Nepal Police has also intensified its checking operations at Birgunj Custom and Shankaracharya Gate.
Increased Security in Rural Border Areas
In addition, the number of security forces has been increased in rural border areas such as Sahdeva, Mahadeva, Musaharwa, Pantoka, Dhupwa Tola, Bhelahi, and Siswa. SSB jawans are maintaining strict vigilance and interrogating suspicious individuals there.
Security Agencies on Alert, Public Urged to Cooperate
All security agencies are fully prepared to prevent any kind of terrorist activity taking advantage of the open border. SSB, local administration, and intelligence agencies are continuously working in coordination.
Naveen Kumar, Deputy Commandant of SSB’s 47th Battalion, stated that the border would remain completely sealed until the PM’s arrival. He appealed to the general public to cross the border either before or after the designated time. This step has been taken as a precautionary measure for the Prime Minister’s security.
