रेलवे यात्रियों की सुविधा और टिकट बुकिंग प्रक्रिया को आसान बनाने के लिए कई महत्वपूर्ण कदम उठा रहा है। केंद्रीय रेल मंत्री अश्विनी वैष्णव के निर्देशों पर, कई नई प्रणालियां और नियम लागू किए जा रहे हैं। ट्रेन के प्रस्थान से आठ घंटे पहले आरक्षण चार्ट तैयार करने की प्रक्रिया रेलवे ने शुरू कर दी है।
मतलब ट्रेन का departure time आज 16:00 बजे यानी शाम 4 बजे है, तो चार्ट आज सुबह 8:00 बजे तैयार मिलेगा।
इससे फायदा यह होगा कि यदि टिकट कन्फर्म नहीं होता है, तो यात्रियों को वैकल्पिक व्यवस्था करने के लिए अधिक समय मिलेगा।
1. आरक्षण चार्ट अब 8 घंटे पहले
रेल मंत्री अश्विनी वैष्णव ने रेलवे बोर्ड को निर्देश दिया है कि ट्रेन के प्रस्थान से आठ घंटे पहले आरक्षण चार्ट तैयार करना शुरू किया जाए।
- क्यों? इस कदम से उन यात्रियों की अनिश्चितता कम होगी जिनके पास वेटिंग लिस्ट का टिकट है।
- फायदा: यदि टिकट कन्फर्म नहीं होता है, तो यात्रियों को वैकल्पिक व्यवस्था करने के लिए अधिक समय मिलेगा।
2. नई और उन्नत यात्री आरक्षण प्रणाली
रेलवे ने अपनी यात्री आरक्षण प्रणाली को आधुनिक और उन्नत बनाया है।
- क्षमता: यह नई प्रणाली वर्तमान लोड से 10 गुना अधिक लोड संभालने में सक्षम है।
- तेजी: यह प्रति मिनट 1 लाख 50 हजार से अधिक रेल टिकट बनाने की क्षमता रखती है, जो वर्तमान क्षमता (32,000 टिकट) का लगभग 5 गुना है।
3. तत्काल टिकट बुकिंग में भी होंगे बदलाव
तत्काल टिकट बुकिंग को और अधिक सुरक्षित और पारदर्शी बनाने के लिए भी कदम उठाए जा रहे हैं।
- केवल प्रमाणित उपयोगकर्ता: रेलवे IRCTC वेबसाइट पर तत्काल टिकट बुक करने के लिए केवल प्रमाणित उपयोगकर्ताओं को ही अनुमति देगा।
- मोबाइल ऐप: जुलाई से इसके लिए एक मोबाइल ऐप भी लॉन्च किया जा रहा है।
- OTP आधारित प्रमाणीकरण: इस वर्ष जुलाई के अंत तक तत्काल टिकट बुकिंग के लिए OTP (वन टाइम पासवर्ड) आधारित प्रमाणीकरण की सुविधा शुरू होगी।
- सुरक्षा: रेल मंत्री ने अधिकारियों को तत्काल टिकट बुकिंग के लिए प्रमाणीकरण प्रणाली को व्यापक बनाने का निर्देश दिया है। प्रमाणीकरण उपभोक्ताओं के डिजिलॉकर अकाउंट में उपलब्ध आधार या किसी अन्य सत्यापन योग्य सरकारी आईडी का उपयोग करके किया जा सकता है।
ये सभी बदलाव यात्रियों को अधिक सुविधा, निश्चितता और सुरक्षित टिकट बुकिंग का अनुभव प्रदान करने के उद्देश्य से किए जा रहे हैं।
New Changes in Indian Railways: Reservation Chart to be Prepared 8 Hours Before Departure
Indian Railways is implementing significant changes to enhance passenger convenience and streamline the ticket booking process. These initiatives, spearheaded by Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw, aim to make train travel more predictable and user-friendly.
1. Reservation Chart to be Prepared 8 Hours Early
Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw has directed the Railway Board to start preparing the reservation chart eight hours before the train’s departure.
- Why? This move aims to reduce uncertainty for passengers holding waitlisted tickets.
- Benefit: If a ticket doesn’t get confirmed, passengers will have more time to make alternative arrangements.
2. Advanced Passenger Reservation System
The Indian Railways has also upgraded its passenger reservation system to be more modern and advanced.
- Capacity: This new system is capable of handling 10 times more load than its current capacity.
- Speed: It can generate over 1.5 lakh train tickets per minute, which is approximately 5 times more than the current capacity of 32,000 tickets.
3. Changes in Tatkal Ticket Booking
Steps are also being taken to make Tatkal ticket booking more secure and transparent.
- Verified Users Only: The railway will only allow verified users to book Tatkal tickets on the IRCTC website.
- Mobile App: A mobile app for this purpose is also set to launch in July.
- OTP-Based Authentication: By the end of July this year, an OTP (One Time Password) based authentication facility for Tatkal ticket booking will be introduced.
- Security: The Railway Minister has instructed officials to expand the authentication system for Tatkal ticket bookings. Authentication can be done using Aadhaar or any other verifiable government ID available in the consumer’s DigiLocker account.
