6 जिलों में सेवा का विस्तार-
बिहार सरकार ने केंद्र की उड़ान योजना के तहत राज्य के 6 जिलों—मधुबनी, सहरसा, मुजफ्फरपुर, मुंगेर, वीरपुर और वाल्मीकिनगर—से हवाई सेवा की शुरुआत करने की घोषणा की है।
स्प्रिट एयर करेगी संचालन-
स्प्रिट एयर नामक विमान सेवा कंपनी को इन जिलों से विमान परिचालन के लिए “लेटर ऑफ इंटेंट” जारी किया गया है। यह कंपनी पटना के बिहटा और वाराणसी जैसे बड़े हवाई अड्डों से इन जिलों को जोड़ेगी।

“इस परियोजना के शुरू होने से पूरे प्रदेश में आवागमन काफी आसान हो जाएगा। इससे न सिर्फ लोगों को यात्रा की बेहतर सुविधा मिलेगी, बल्कि इन जिलों में आर्थिक, सामाजिक और पर्यटन के क्षेत्र में भी जबरदस्त विकास होगा। नई हवाई सेवाओं की वजह से स्थानीय व्यापार, पर्यटन और रोजगार को नई गति मिलेगी।”
